Watsonville Little Caesars robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, police say

A man in his 20s armed with a handgun robbed a Little Caesars Pizza in Watsonville Sunday night, police said.

Officers said the armed robbery was reported at the location at 1504 Freedom Blvd. Employees said they feared for their lives when the man used a handgun to demand cash from the registers.

Officers said the man got away with cash from the store’s safe. The store’s alarm was activated and the man left the scene, officers said.

Police said no one was hurt. The man is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches, in his 20s, skinny, with a black mustache and with a patch of hair under his lip and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

Officers searched the scene but were unable to find the man. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
