Salinas woman wanted on burglary charges, police say

Salinas police have identified a woman wanted by detectives in two burglary cases. Officers said Kathleen Reynosa, 32, is on the run after a May 5 incident at J.C. Penney in Northridge Mall.

In surveillance pictures, officers said Reynosa is seen trying to hand over fraudulent checks to a store clerk with a male suspect. The department is identifying Reynosa and the man as a couple.

Officers said Reynosa has an additional outstanding no-bail warrant for burglary. Reynosa is described as a Hispanic woman, about 5-foot-3, 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Officers said she has a mole on the left side of her mouth and a tattoo of a flower and star on her chest. They believe she is homeless and staying in local motels.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
