‘Bubbly Bandit’ sought in Santa Cruz

High priced champagne was the target for one suspect in a ‘bubbly’ heist.

On January 19, at approximately 5:30 p.m. a female suspect stole the 6 bottles of high-end champagne from Shopper’s Corner.

It’s hard to tell from the surveillance photos but the ‘bubbly bandit’ made off with 6 bottles under her coat, worth a total of $600.

After walking out of the store, she drove off in an older model green Ford Explorer seen here.

P0lice believe with these photos now public, somebody knows who she is and will come forward.
