Armed robbery at the Crab Bucket Restaurant in Salinas

The Salinas Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Crab Bucket Restaurant on Saturday night.

Two men entered the restaurant located on North Main Street just before 10p.m., police said. One of them had a gun and ordered customers and employees to the ground while the second suspect opened the register and took the contents in the register, police said.

Both suspects fled out the door toward Noice Drive, Police said.

The suspect with the gun was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall, thin build, wearing a black hoodie with a baseball cap and a bandana over his face, according to police. The second suspect was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavy build, wearing a dark blue hoodie and a bandana, police said.
