Monterey Bay Aquarium celebrates Shark Days this weekend

The Monterey Bay Aquarium presents “Shark Days” this weekend, Nov. 1-2.

The events will include shark and bat ray feedings, fascinating shark stories from aquarium experts, and special programs and activities.

Attendees will get to “meet” the aquarium’s resident sharks, which includes sevengill, sandbar and leopard sharks. That includes the aquarium’s new broadnose sevengill shark.

Presentations during “Shark Days” will dispel fear-filled myths that surround the magnificent species and explain the grave threats facing sharks around the world.

“Shark Days” activities are included with aquarium admission.

For more information, visit the aquarium’s website.
