Soledad gas station robbed at gunpoint Tuesday

Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station in Soledad Tuesday night.

Two suspects, wearing dark clothing, entered the Chevron Service Station on Sillman Road around 8:30 p.m., deputies said. They robbed the clerk of cash at gunpoint, and then fled through the parking lot to a light-colored four-door car.

No further suspect information has been released.
