Santa Cruz County unveils new CPR mobile app

Representatives of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors joined emergency responders and cardiac arrest survivors Wednesday to demonstrate a new mobile app called PulsePoint.

PulsePoint alerts CPR-trainer citizens of incidents of sudden cardiac arrest near them, providing a location of the victim and pinpointing the nearest automated external defibrillator (AED) device.

To find out more about the app or to download it, visit the PulsePoint website.
