Don’t worry – CERT training exercise Saturday

If you see emergency training exercises near the Monterey County Fairgrounds Saturday, no need to worry.

The “Community Emergency Response Team” or CERT is doing some emergency training.

The training is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. through 11 a.m. It will include a fire simulation and what will appear to be a “mass casualty incident.”

There will also be several training exercises on Dundee Avenue, where a victim will be carried away on a stretcher.
