Santa Cruz police post surveillance photos of suspected thief

Santa Cruz police want the public’s help in finding a man suspected of stealing items from cars, like credit and debit cards.

Police said the suspect, caught on several surveillance cameras used the stolen cards at Safeway and 7-11. He’s described as a white man, between 22 and 26 years old, with a blond buzz cut and a small build.

Santa Cruz police said to contact its Investigations Unit with any tips, or use their Anonymous Tip Line at (831) 420-5995.
