Salinas police seeking to identify pair in fraudulent check case

Salinas police are seeking help from the public in identifying two females who tried to deposit a fraudulent check into an ATM machine in April.

Surveillance images show the two females at the ATM at the 7-11 store at 1305 North Main St. on April 1. The check got stuck in the machine, and five days later, one of the pair returned to try to retrieve the check.
