Police Investigating Shooting in King City

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 6 Wednesday night on North 3rd and Collins streets.

A 32-year-old man from the Coalinga area was shot in the leg and was transported by ambulance for treatment. His injuries are considered non life-threatening.

Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted in the investigation.

They, along with officers, are now looking for the suspect vehicle, described as a green SUV or truck with a camper shell.
