Local Fallen Soldier to be Buried in Hawaii
Central Coast News learned Monday that a local soldier, who lost his life in Afghanistan, will soon be laid to rest in Hawaii.
Edward Balli’s family says his body was released Sunday at Dover Air Force Base and will be flown to Hawaii for burial.
The family will then travel to Germany for a regimental memorial where he was stationed.
Meantime, a local memorial is being planned for March. 3.
