Salinas Fire Crews Responding to Vegetation Fire Near Constitution Blvd

Salinas fire crews were battling a vegetation fire in the Creekbridge area Friday afternoon. At least 4 fire engines were on scene to help put the fire out.

Early estimates were that this fire burned a quarter of an acre. Fire crews said they believe the fire was intentionally set, similar to at least two other fires in the same area over the past few days.

Witnesses said that the neighborhood was hazy from the smoke.
