Dog Euthanized After Salinas Rollover Accident

Jodie Breschini is lucky to be alive after her car flipped on Highway 101 in Salinas Thursday night, but her dog wasn’t so lucky. While she was flown out to a hospital, her dog who was in the car with her went missing.

Ginger wasn’t found until Friday. She had been hit by a car and paralyzed. She had to be euthanized.

As for Breschini, she has some bruised ribs, but is out of the hospital. For most of the day Friday, she had been looking for her dog and hoping for the best.

Family was able to say goodbye to the pet before it was put down.
