Scotts Valley holding meeting to discuss use of park grant funds
The city of Scotts Valley may be receiving up to $200,000 in Proposition 68 grant funds, and it is holding a meeting to get ideas from the public about how to use it.
The funds would go towards adding amenities to the children’s play area at Skypark. The city is hoping to get ideas about how to spend the money. Some examples of how it could be used include shading, water play areas or playground surfacing.
The meeting will be on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Skypark. Anyone with questions is asked to contact Recreation Division Manager Kristin Ard at 831-438-3251 or kard@scottsvalley.org.
