Shower and Thunderstorm Chances

Tonight, through Wednesday:    Warm at the coast and hot inland. Night and early morning fog near the bay. 70's and 80's coast and 90's to 100 inland.

Wednesday night through Friday morning: Remnants of tropical storm Mario will approach the Central Coast. This means we will have the chance of showers and thunderstorms starting late Wednesday night and continuing through Friday morning. Details are still fuzzy due to a very complicated atmospheric setup. It boils down to this. I do expect scattered showers and the slight chance of thunderstorms.  There is still a chance that most if not all of this moisture misses us. The threat of lightning coming after 3 hot and dry days is concerning. This forecast bears close watching. Stay tuned!
