Burford leads Illinois State over SIU Edwardsville 77-71

NORMAL, Ill. — Darius Burford had 20 points to guide Illinois State to a 77-71 victory over SIU Edwardsville. Burford had five rebounds for the Redbirds (5-6). Colton Sandage added 16 points and five rebounds. Seneca Knight scored 12. The Cougars (7-4) were led by Ray’Sean Taylor with 20 points.
