An Oakland man has been arrested nearly three months after an attempted armed robbery in Suisun City, police said on Thursday.

The Suisun City Police Department said officers responded around 1 a.m. on Jan. 4 to a reported attempted robbery along Sunset Avenue.

Investigators said the suspect used a firearm during the incident, but no property was taken.

Following what police described as an extensive investigation, security footage from the area led authorities to identify Oakland resident Marcus Lewis as a suspect.
