A missing person was found dead at Fairfield’s Rockville Hills Regional Park, with authorities saying that no foul play is suspected.

City of Fairfield officials stated Tuesday morning that the park was closed due to a search for an at-risk missing person.

The Solano County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the missing person crews were looking for was 25-year-old Joshua Verdeflor, who was last seen Sunday in Vallejo.

At the time of his disappearance, authorities said Verdeflor was possibly in the Suisun Valley area.

About 70 people and several agencies were at the park for the search effort.

Verdeflor’s body was found at the park, the sheriff’s office confirmed on Wednesday. It’s unclear, at this time, how Verdeflor died, but the sheriff’s office noted that no foul play was suspected.

Crews combed through around 1,000 acres of terrain in the search, the sheriff’s office says.
