One victim identified in late-night shooting in Salinas with two dead, one injured

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) - One victim has been identified in the deadly shooting last night in Salinas.

According to the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, the 20-year-old victim was identified as Jesus Guido of Salinas.

The other victim, a 17-year-old juvenile, has not been identified. A third victim is currently in the hospital in stable condition.

The shooting happened on Friday night at the 300 block of Cross Avenue at 11 p.m.

Two dead, one injured in late-night shooting in Salinas

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) - Two people are dead and one is injured in a late-night shooting on Friday night in Salinas.

According to the Salinas Police Department, Salinas officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation at the 300 block of Cross Avenue at 11 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found three victims with gunshot wounds. Two victims, ages 17 and 20, were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third victim, a 17-year-old, was transported to the hospital. They are in stable condition.

The investigation is currently ongoing. We will have more details when they are released.
