Hiker rescued after being injured in Pinnacles National Park

SOLEDAD, Calif. (KION-TV) - A hiker is safe and sound after being helped to safety by CAL FIRE crews in Soledad.

According to the city of Soledad, firefighters were called to help rescue an injured hiker in Pinnacles National Park.

The crews hiked two miles into the pinnacles to find the hiker and bring her back to be transported to the hospital.

The injured hiker was all smiles after taking this snapshot with the crew before getting further treatment with soledad saying how this is one way of keeping their community safe.
