Monterey, San Benito Counties seek community input on homeless housing funding

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. (KION-TV) - Monterey and San Benito counties are teaming with Lead Me Home Continuum of Care for an application for State Homeless Housing, Assistance, and Prevention funding.

The application is for a new round of funding that will continue current homelessness assistance programs, with the community being asked for their input on what is needed.

Community feedback will be used to address local needs and inform the county's combined Coordinated Homelessness Action Plan.

Those invited to share their opinion range from those who have experienced homelessness to community leaders to members of the public.
