UCSC “Peeping Tom” suspect pleads not guilty
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) - A man suspected of being a "peeping tom" at UC Santa Cruz has pleaded not guilty today in Santa Cruz.
According to a criminal complaint filed with Santa Cruz County, former UCSC student Tony Pau is being held on three misdemeanor counts of voyeurism and one felony count of burglary and grand theft.
The complaint also alleges that Pau entered the College Nine/John R Lewis College and stole an iPhone, Apple AirPods, cargo pants, prescription eyeglasses, and a bra belonging to one victim.
That same day, Pau allegedly had recorded another victim in a bathroom area, an act that happened to two other victims on March 4.
Pau was arrested at his home in Daly City on June 25.
