“I’ve always believed in enjoying the work you do for the community. I look forward to coming to work every day. I am also excited to bring my K9 partner Zuko to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office," Chief Deputy Bixler said.

Chief Deputy Bixler has previously served as part of the Los Angeles Police Department, starting in 1996. Before that, Bixler served as a member of the U.S. Army and as an Emergency Medical Technician.
