Salinas Valley Health Farmers’ Market kicks off with Community Health Day, mobile clinic

SALINAS, Calif. (KION) - The annual Salinas Valley Health Farmers' Market returns with a free mobile clinic for a Community Health Day on May 9.

The Community Health Day is part of the kickoff of the Farmers' Market, which will be held every Friday until November 7.

The mobile clinic is on-site to provide free health screenings to visitors until 3:30 p.m. An educational table featuring the Salinas Valley Health Pharmacy to guide families on receiving medicine.

At the Farmer's Market, vendors will sell fresh fruit, vegetables, and food to eat at the market and take home. Vendors include Dulce Vida Desserts, Golden Flowers, Johnny's BBQ, and others.

The Farmer's Market runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is located at the Salinas Valley Health Medical Center at 450 E. Romie Lane.
