Hollister set traffic meeting for San Benito Street roadway treatment

HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION) -- The City of Hollister is hosting a virtual meeting on Thursday focused on traffic calming on San Benito Street.

Hollister is evaluating potential options for traffic calming along San Benito Street between Hawkins Street and Nash Road. This includes options that could see speed limits to improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

Those looking to participate can fill out a survey before the meeting. The survey focuses on gathering feedback from locals and drivers about the current state of the street.

The survey will gain insight into what methods will help traffic.

The meeting will be on Zoom from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1.
