Two suspects arrested in Easter Sunday bike shop burglary

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Two suspects were arrested in Scotts Valley after breaking into a bike shop on Easter Sunday.

According to the Scotts Valley Police Department, reports came in of suspects in ski masks near Cycle Sport in Scotts Valley. Both were seen inside a U-Haul truck outside the bike shop.

Officers arrived to see the U-Haul leaving the area, with an attempt to stop it before breaking out into a pursuit. It was later found that the suspects had used the U-Haul to break into the business.

The two suspects then crashed into an embankment, with the driver running away before being arrested. The stolen property was also recovered.
