Person saved in Aromas rescue after car falls into a ravine

AROMAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A person is safe after having been saved from their car that had fallen deep into a ravine in Aromas on Monday night.

According to CAL FIRE BEU, the rescue occurred a little after 7:20 p.m. with reports of a car that had left the roadway and landed 60 feet into a ravine.

Crews work together to help rescue the driver from their vehicle in the ravine.

This lead crews from Aromas Tri-County Fire and Hollister Fire to help aid in effort for a technical rescue with a rope rescue system.

After finding the victim, they transferred them to a trauma center in Salinas.
