Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s investigating shooting outside of Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office detectives and deputies are investigating a shooting outside of Watsonville on San Andreas Road.

According to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened after 9 p.m. Monday with reports of people running from the 200 block of San Andreas Road.

While on-site, detectives found a male victim who had been standing by his car when three suspects approached him.

The suspects then started firing, shooting multiple rounds with the male victim left unharmed.

While no injuries were reported, two vehicles were hit by the gunfire.
