Body found on Mitchell’s Cove Beach in Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION-TV) -- A body was found early Thursday afternoon near Mitchell's Cove Beach in Santa Cruz.

According to the Santa Cruz Police Department, a call came in around 1:19 p.m. about the body near the area.

The body has not been identified. The cause of death remains under investigation.
