Fentanyl, 3D printed weapon among others found during search warrant in Salinas

SALINAS, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Several weapons and drugs were found as the Salinas Police's Violence Suppression Task Force (VSTF) continues a firearms trafficking investigation.

According to Salinas Police, a suspect was arrested on February 22 on Longfellow Drive after serving a search warrant.

Upon arrival, the VSTF found two assault weapons, four handguns, parts for firearms, high-capacity magazines, and a 3D-printed gun along with two 3D printers.

As for the drugs found on the scene, this included fentanyl in both M-30 pills and powdered forms, Alprazolam pills, cocaine and methamphetamine.

These drugs were packaged up with the intention of sale.

The firearms trafficking investigation remains active.
