SPCA bringing mobile spay, neuter clinics to South Monterey County

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Free spay and neuter mobile clinics are heading to cities in South Monterey County beginning on February 26.

King City and Soledad will host mobile clinics for those in South Monterey County to get their pets and neighborhood dogs and cats the surgical procedures for free.

This is for residents from Chualar and south to the county lines.

The dates and times are listed below:

  • Wednesday, Feb 26: Soledad
    Soledad Lions Club, 161 Park St.
  • Wednesday, March 5: Soledad
    Soledad Lions Club, 161 Park St.
  • Wednesday, March 19: King City
    King City Recreation Center, 401 Division St.
  • Wednesday, April 16: Soledad
    Soledad Lions Club, 161 Park St.
  • Wednesday, April 23: King City
    King City Recreation Center, 401 Division St.
  • Wednesday, May 7: Soledad
    Soledad Lions Club, 161 Park St.
  • Wednesday, May 14: King City
    King City Recreation Center, 401 Division St.

Now while the clinics are free, appointments and a $25 deposit to hold your spot are required.

The $25 deposit will be refunded on the day of the spay and neuter appointment.

Hitchcock Road Animal Services sponsored the free clinics.
