Evacuation warnings lifted for Carmel River, Prunedale and Bolsa Knolls Friday

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) -- Evacuation warnings were issued to flooding risks in Monterey County for Carmel River, Bolsa Knolls and Prunedale, but have since been lifted Friday.

The evacuation warnings included Zone C045-B, including those along Santa Rita Creek in Bolsa Knolls, Salinas. This evacuation warning has been lifted.

The second warning was for Zone C040-B including those along Ralph Lane in Prunedale, but that was lifted Friday afternoon.

A third and fourth warnings were issued for Zones D057-C and D066-B for the areas along the Carmel River near Camp Steffani Rd, Wawona Rd and Lower Paso Hondo, but as of Friday afternoon they were lifted.

If an Evacuation Order is issued, residents should be ready to leave.
