1,700+ customers without power in Carmel

CARMEL, Calif. (KION) -- More than 1,700 customers in the Carmel Valley are without power.

The outage began in the early morning hours first reported at 3:51 a.m. to PG&E. This is due to a tree having made contact with a power line in the area.

the estimated restoration time for power in the area is 4 p.m.
