Evacuation warnings issued near San Lorenzo River

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) -- Three evacuation warnings are being issued due to the excessive rainfall expected Thursday in Santa Cruz County.

Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office issued warnings as heavy rains and run-off are expected starting tonight and into Friday morning with an expected rise of the San Lorenzo River.

Those placed under warnings include low-lying areas such as:

  • FEL-E008 Felton Grove area
  • FEL-E012 Beth Drive area
  • CRZ-E081 Paradise Park area
