Pleasanton begins converting decorative lawns under new state law

A new state law requires cities to stop using potable water on decorative lawns, meaning many grassy areas along roads or center medians will turn brown or be replaced. One of the first cities in the Bay Area making the change is Pleasanton. Katie Nielsen reports
