San Francisco Unified School District teachers go on strike for 1st time since 1979

Teachers in the San Francisco Unified School District began striking Monday after the union and district were not able to reach a deal over the weekend. The labor stoppage is the first in SFUSD history in nearly 50 years. Veronica Macias reports.
