Minor earthquake jolts South Bay near San Jose

A small earthquake shook the South Bay area on Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake hit a little before 7 a.m. east of San Jose in rural Santa Clara County.

It’s measured intensity registered at a 3.1 magnitude, according to USGS.

There have been no reports of damage.
