Magnitude 3.2 earthquake hits north of Lafayette

A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck north of Lafayette Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was in the Briones Regional Park, and it was recorded just before 7:30 a.m., with a depth of nearly 10 miles, the USGS report states.

According to Did You Feel It Responses, people in Martinez, El Sobrante, Berkeley, Walnut Creek and Lafayette reported feeling weak shaking.
