Power outage still leaves people in Marina and Seaside without power

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- Just before 9 a.m. today, PG&E crews responded to an outage impacting about 8,700 customers in Marina and surrounding communities. 

Crews identified damaged equipment outside of the Fort Ord Substation. 

Although, the cause is still under investigation, restoration efforts are underway with the majority of customers restored.

About 1,400 customers remain without power and full restoration is expected by 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Outage leaves thousands without power in Marina and Seaside

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- PG&E is reporting over 8,000 customers are being impacted by an outage in parts of Marina and Seaside.

The outage started at 8:38AM, according to the company's outage map, and the cause is listed as unplanned.

Power is expected to be restored around 11AM.
