KION Pets of the Week for August 7, 2025

Our Neighborhood Pet Project and Animal Friends Rescue Project present this week's Pets of the Week!

Meet: Beethoven

Beethoven is an eight-week-old Siamese kitten whose shown a tendency to be talkative, bold and is always looking for attention.

He's constantly exploring his environment, playing with toys or hanging out with his brother, Bach.

Beethoven is a fan of being cradled and will purr nonstop once he's comfortable.

Beethoven hopes to find a home where people are around throughout the day to give him the attention he craves.

He lives with other kittens now and would be happy to be adopted with one of them, especially if it's his brother, Bach.

He hasn't been evaluated around dogs yet but would do well with very young children.

Meet: Drake

Drake is two years old and was previously featured on Pet of the Week from the Animal Friends Rescue Project.

Drake is still his playful, devoted self who doesn't mind being cuddles.

He's shy at first but once he knows he can trust you he warms up quickly.

Drake would do well with experienced adult adopters or families with dog savvy teens.

He's also fine with the right cat or a calm pup, too.
