Santa Cruz Police launch community survey for staffing feedback

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) - A new survey is letting locals in Santa Cruz have a say in the staffing of the Santa Cruz Police.

The survey is to help assess the current operations and performance of the SCPD. Locals can also identify areas for improvement within the department.

“We want to ensure our department reflects the values and needs of the community,” said Santa Cruz Police Chief Bernie Escalante.

The survey is open until July 31, and all responses are confidential.

Those interested in participating in the survey can head to this link.
