Salinas police investigate accident involving motorcyclist near Abbott Street

Salinas police are at the scene of an accident involving a motorcyclist near Blanco Road and Abbot Street.

According to officers, there were two passengers, a male and female, on the motorcycle. They believe at about 2:48 p.m., Saturday, the driver lost control due to the gravel, causing the motorcycle to slip.

The female had to be transported to a hospital with a possible broken leg. The male was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
