WASHINGTON (AP) — Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is out with a new children’s book that challenges kids to ask how they can help at home and in their communities. Sotomayor tells kids she asks herself every night before she goes to sleep, “Whom have I helped today?” In her book titled “Just Help! How to Build a Better World,” Sotomayor says she wants children to find ways to assist family and friends. She says they can also help by sending care packages to American soldiers overseas, recycling plastic bags, cleaning a park and donating toys to a children’s hospital. The book comes out Tuesday and is Sotomayor’s third book for young readers.
