Mild Start To The Week

ZACH WEATHER

High pressure will dominate the weather through mid-week. With dry, somewhat offshore, expect cool mornings and warm afternoons. A trough of low pressure will begin to approach by the end of the week with a storm system passing by late Friday into Saturday. Rain is looking more and more likely Saturday morning.

Tuesday: A few, thin high clouds passing through, otherwise sunny. Some low cloudcover possible on the south side of the bay late. A bit warm, with coastal highs in the 60s to around 70ºF with widespread 70s inland.

Overnight: Patchy low clouds near the southern end of the bay. Overnight lows will mostly be in the 40s along the coast with 30s to 40s inland.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a few low clouds possible near the coast. Another warm day with 60s to low 70s on the coast and widespread 70s inland.

Extended: Temperatures will begin to decrease and clouds to increase in Thursday, further on Friday. Rain possible late Friday into Saturday morning. At the moment, it looks like widespread light rain.

The outlook from the Climate Prediction Center for March 10th-16th calls for the likelihood of near normal temperatures and ABOVE normal precipitation.
