BART service on the Red Line and Green Line was restored Monday after an equipment issue disrupted service during the morning commute, officials said.

Shortly after 7 a.m., the agency said that the issue involved an issue on the track near the West Oakland station. The issue led to no Red Line service between Millbrae and Richmond and no Green Line service between Berryessa station in North San Jose and Daly City.

During the closure, all 50 stations on the BART system were open.

In a message posted around 10:30 a.m., the agency announced that both Green Line and Red Line service was fully restored, with direct train service available between Berryessa and Daly City, along with service between Millbrae and Richmond.

Monday’s disruption comes three days after service between South Hayward and Berryessa stations was disrupted due to a vandalism incident. The agency has faced increased scrutiny in recent months over multiple hours-long service disruptions.
