A Fairfield dentist’s office was damaged in a fire over the weekend.

Fairfield Fire Department crews responded to the scene along N. Texas Street and Air Base Parkway late Sunday night.

Firefighters found that the flames had gotten into the attic.

Crews had to call for a second-alarm response due to the situation.

N. Texas Street was closed through the early morning hours.

Exactly what started the fire is under investigation.
