MONTEREY, Calif. (KION-TV) - Monterey Bay FC president Mike DiGiulio has stepped down from his role, according to a statement released by the club.

"This season will be my last as President. I wanted to share this news now so that, in these final weeks, I can thank as many of our supporters, partners, staff, players, and soccer family in person," DiGiulio said in the statement on his stepping away from the role.

DiGiulio had been with the United States League Championship (USLC) team since its inception in 2021 as president.

KION had reached out to the Monterey Bay FC for further comment, but has not received one at this time of reporting.
