Drier, Warmer Weather

Air Quality: Good, BUT  I am still watching smoke from the fires burning to our east. Mainly the Garnett fire which is putting up a lot of smoke.  I am expecting onshore ( westerly winds) through the forecast period that will push most of the smoke off to the east.

This Morning: Cloudy over the area along with patchy fog and mist. Temperatures in the upper 50's. We will be seeing drier and warmer weather this weekend.

This Evening: A mix of sun and clouds. Cloudy in the Monterey Peninsula, but over in Santa Cruz, looking nuce and sunny. Temps in the 60's and 70's mainly. NW winds expected to pick up in the afternoon.

Another warmup is expected today with sunny skies throughout the weekend.
