HOLLISTER, Calif. (KION-TV) - A Bay Area flying car company is expanding operations at two airports, including one right here on the central coast.

San Mateo-based Alef calls its creation the first true flying car in history.

The company is striking a deal with the Half Moon Bay and Hollister Airport.

It's the first time they will be testing the cars at airports, and they'll be restricted to flying during daylight.

Alef says both airports could end up serving as future bases for their fleet of flying cars.
